Fiedler, Leslie A.
(1917-2003)
   American writer and critic. He was born in Newark, New Jersey. He taught at the University of Montana and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Jewish themes have played an increasing role in his later work. His writings include Image of the Jew in American Fiction and The Jew in the American Novel.
